Select Board · Meeting of March 30, 2026

BARRE — The Barre Select Board voted to acknowledge an open meeting law complaint and authorize town counsel to respond. The complaint, tied to a June 3, 2024 executive session and related September 2024 actions, was attributed during the meeting to a person identified as Von Birney, though an earlier reference to a "Corey Bombrague" filing was not clearly reconciled. The board separately appointed Cheryl Lee Davis as an election worker effective immediately ahead of an open town ballot.

Members then voted 3-0 by roll call, with Stevens, Marshall and Regienus each voting "aye," to enter executive session to review and possibly vote on releasing minutes from closed sessions held September 18, 2025, September 24, 2025 and January 9, 2026.
