Barre records 12 property transfers in August, but only a quarter carry a price so far

Barre recorded 12 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 29, 2026, but only three carried a sale price by the time of this report, ranging from $26,025 to $299,000 with a median of $200,000. The month's top recorded sale was 116 School St N, which sold for $299,000 on Aug. 5 to buyer Nicholas Nadeau. That same address changed hands again days later with Nadeau as seller, though a price for the second transfer was not yet available. Two other transfers were recorded for nominal consideration and are not counted as market sales. With most prices still pending at the registry, the data available this period offers only a partial picture of local market tone.
